Phase I. Auditions
The audition procedure,
required repertoire and web link to register online are on this web
site (Audition Info).
To view the information needed for registration, see Orchestra Audition Questionnaire.
- After registering online for an AIMS audition, you will receive a Confirmatory Email with the link to a document, the Orchestra Audition Questionnaire and Report. These are the instructions you will be given:
- OPEN and PRINT OUT THIS DOCUMENT.
-
FILL OUT the questionnaire, your repertoire, attach a small photo and your one-page résumé.
Your résumé should include competitions you have won/placed.
- BRING THESE ITEMS TO YOUR AUDITION.
- GIVE THEM TO THE AIMS REPRESENTATIVE.
The judge will use page 2 of the document to record the results of your audition.
For Recorded Auditions: register online, pay the audition fee and send these same items with your recording to the AIMS Office.
Phase II. Acceptance
You will be notified of your
acceptance as a member of the AIMS Festival Orchestra on April 1
both by an Acceptance Email and by posting your name on

to hold your place in the orchestra. The 14-day period begins on April 1.
A $25 fine is levied when the contract is not returned
within two weeks. Efforts to replace you will begin promptly.
Your responsibilities are to provide AIMS with a valid email address to
receive your contract without delay and to view the new Orchestra
Roster on April 1.
Your contract can be signed electronically by following the directions
in your Acceptance Email. Alternatively, you may print and sign a paper contract and
return it within 14 days.
You are requested to pay the $250 Contract Deposit by credit card
