Andrew Salaru

Hailed by the Boston Classical Review as “remarkable,” bassoonist Andrew Salaru is known for his captivating performances and diverse musical pursuits. Maintaining a schedule full of musical endeavors, Andrew has performed as a member of prestigious ensembles such as the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Monmouth Symphony Orchestra, MIT Symphony Orchestra, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra. His musical journey has taken him to renowned concert halls throughout the world, including Boston’s Symphony Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Jordan Hall, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and the concert halls of Athens and Thessaloniki in Greece.

Currently pursuing his studies at the esteemed New England Conservatory of Music (class of ‘25) under the guidance of Marc Goldberg, Andrew previously honed his craft at Juilliard Pre-College (class of ‘21), studying with the same revered teacher.
