My name is Camila Marquez, I’m a 20-year-old violinist from São Paulo, Brazil. I began my musical journey in 2012 at the Music School of the State of São Paulo, where I completed both the preparatory and advanced cycles. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from the University of São Paulo, graduating in December 2024.

Throughout my training, I’ve had the privilege of studying with renowned professors such as Miriam Cruz, Helena Picazzio, Eliane Tokeshi, and William Knuth, among others. My orchestral experience includes playing first and second violin in several ensembles, such as the Guarulhos Youth Orchestra, the Experimental Repertoire Orchestra (first violin), and the Laetare String Orchestra (second violin). Currently, I play in the SESI-SP Bachiana Youth Orchestra, and in 2025, I will serve as concertmaster of the Orchestra of the School Visconde Porto Seguro.
I’ve also participated in important music festivals, including the UNASP Festival in São Paulo, Music in the Mountains in Minas Gerais, the Thomastik Brazil Music Festspiele in Curitiba, and the Sesc Pelotas Festival in Rio Grande do Sul.
