Diana Osorio is a cellist and music educator based in Germany. She currently works in education and outreach at the Staatstheater Braunschweig in addition to freelance performance and teaching projects. Alongside her current studies with Alvin Wong at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover she is also pursuing Suzuki teacher training with Tessa Oakley in London. Previously, she studied at the University of Georgia and Penn State University.
Diana is very happy to be returning for her third summer in the orchestra at AIMS. She has spent previous summers as a Strings Teaching Fellow at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and as a student at Brevard Music Festival.
She lives in Braunschweig with her husband Santiago, and enjoys hiking in the Harz Mountains and travelling in Europe and beyond.
