A long-time supporter of the arts not only as a lyricist, composer and producer of more than 200 concerts, Mark has also taken his experience as a successful businessman and taught singers how to create paying careers for themselves. While in high school he had a co-starring role in a West End of London musical before going on to get a Master’s degree in English and Communications. During all of these educational pursuits he started two successful businesses and got married to Elizabeth Robinson. From there his businesses were in construction, automotive transmissions, political action, and adult education products in investing and entrepreneurship. He published 15 books on business, marketing, and negotiating, as well as books of poetry and short stories. One of his plays won a comedy festival and a musical received strong reviews. Since 2001 he has coached hundreds of singers on ways to find performance opportunities in private consultations and as a guest lecturer at dozens of university vocal programs.
