Yiran Yao
Violin
Yiran Yao is the Assistant Principal Second Violin of the Stockton Symphony and a Section Violinist of the Fresno Philharmonic. She holds a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from the Bard Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor Degree in Art History from Bard College. Yiran is currently continuing her studies at the USC Thornton School of Music under the tutelage of Glenn Dicterow, former Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic.
