Anna Hakobyan

Anna Hakobyan is a pianist from San Antonio, Texas. She is a native of Armenia and currently works as a collaborative pianist at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She received her B.M. and M.M. degrees in Piano Performance from Yerevan State Conservatory in Armenia and has participated in numerous national and international competitions.
Recognized as a sensitive and enthusiastic collaborative artist, she has drawn many performers to work with her and appear in various venues. Her performance of a La Voix Humaine by Francis Poulenc with the UTSA Lyric Theatre won First Place at the 2025 National Opera Association competition.
She has collaborated in numerous master classes, competitions, auditions and faculty recitals and has worked as a coach for the Taos Opera Institute, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and the Classical Music Institute.
