Fiona Tsang
Cello
Fiona Tsang is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in cello performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Professor Richard Weiss. A 2023 graduate of the CIM Young Artist Program, she has performed as a soloist with the Suburban Symphony Orchestra, Euclid Symphony Orchestra, and El Camino Youth Symphony. Fiona was selected as a participant in the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition in St. Petersburg and has received awards from the Cleveland Cello Society Scholarship Competition, Cynthia Woods Mitchell – Ima Hogg Young Artist Competition, and Ohio MTNA Competition, among others. She has served as principal cellist in the CIM Orchestra, Texas Music Festival Orchestra, Bay Area Youth Music Society Orchestra, and CODA Honor Symphony Orchestra, and is looking forward to playing in the AIMS Graz Festival Orchestra this summer.
