Nicholas Whitley
Violin
Nicholas Whitley is a graduate of Shenandoah University under the instruction of Akemi Takayma, where he has been dedicated to pursuing his love for music through the violin. In the fall Nicholas will be starting his Masters Degree at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music with the Henry Mancini Fellowship. Beginning his musical journey at the age of 8, Nicholas has worked diligently to develop his skills and find his unique musical voice. Through his studies at Shenandoah University, Nicholas has been inspired by talented instructors and fellow musicians such as Stella Chen, Kevin Zhu and Marin Alsop, fostering a deep appreciation for the transformative power of music in his life.
