Nicholas Whitley
Violin
Nicholas Whitley is a violinist recognized for his artistry, dedication, and commitment to musical excellence. A graduate of Shenandoah University, he studied under Akemi Takayama, where he refined his technical command of the instrument and developed his distinctive artistic voice. Since beginning violin at the age of eight, he has pursued music with discipline, curiosity, and a deep passion for performance.
He is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the University of Miami Frost School of Music as a recipient of the Henry Mancini Fellowship. His artistic growth has been shaped by the mentorship and inspiration of distinguished musicians and educators, including Stella Chen, Kevin Zhu, and Marin Alsop.
As a performer, Nicholas strives to create meaningful musical experiences through expressive and thoughtful performances. He remains committed to artistic growth, collaboration, and sharing music in ways that inspire audiences and build connections through the universal language of music.
