Teaching Philosophy
I believe that every person is just as unique as their voice. It is my hope to guide students on the journey of vocal discovery by unlocking one’s potential. This is not just a physical but mental process that seeks to aid singers find a more wholistic approach to their artistry. I believe that artistry requires a fearlessness and excitement to face challenges, engage in self-discovery and offer more than just a single approach to singing. Understanding how your body works is just as important as working through any limitations one can put on oneself. I strongly believe in mentorship with an excitement to nudge students beyond what they believe is possible and find comfort in the “new”.
