Riley Keller
Bass
Hailing from Michigan, Riley Keller is a versatile Double Bassist with an interest in collaborative composition and pit work.
Keller received a Bachelor’s in Double Bass Performance from Butler University, where he studied under Professor of Bass, David Murray. He has had the opportunity to perform in masterclasses led by world-renowned bassists Sam Suggs, Jiu-Fang Liu, Max Zeugner, and William Gowen. Keller has attended festivals such as the Bay View Chamber Music Festival in Petoskey, MI, and the Irish Chamber Orchestra Academy in Limerick, Ireland.
As an experienced pit musician, Keller has been hired to play with the Butler Ballet in their performances of Nutcracker (2022 and 2024) and Cinderella (2024). He also performed in the pit for the Bay View Association’s production of Beauty and the Beast (2023).
