Dasara Beta
Trumpet

Dasara Beta is eagerly looking forward to performing with the AIMS Festival Orchestra this summer in Graz. Currently approaching his third year of undergraduate studies at the Curtis Institute of Music, he studies under Mr. Michael Sachs (Principal, The Cleveland Orchestra) and Mr. Jeffrey Curnow (Assistant Principal, Philadelphia Orchestra), as well as formerly having studied with Mr. David Bilger (Principal Emeritus, Philadelphia Orchestra). He additionally holds the position of 3rd Trumpet in Symphony in C, an orchestra based in Camden, NJ.
Originally from Cleveland, OH, Dasara began his studies with Mr. Richard Pokrywka, and began internationally performing at 14 years old, bringing orchestra concerts on tour to Germany and France. Now, he is thrilled to be playing and learning in Austria this summer at AIMS.
Previously, Dasara has appeared in performance with the NYO-USA All Star Orchestra and conductor Yannick Nezet-Seguin at Carnegie Hall, performed as a soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, and been a two-time fellow at the National Orchestral Institute.
