Nicolas Mirabile

Playing with an artistic, lyrical, and expressive quality, Nicolas Mirabile is a sought-after ensemble and chamber musician based in New York City and performs widely in the area outside of the city. A native of Montclair, New Jersey, he has appeared various times on stages such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. He has appeared in recent years with many different ensembles to include New York Youth Symphony, Orchestra de la Francophonie, and the fledgling Montclair Orchestra led by the esteemed musicians of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Summer festivals include the Festival Institute at Round Top, the Pierre Monteux School, and the Tafelmusik Summer Baroque Institute. A graduate of The Boston Conservatory (Bachelor of Music) and the Mannes School of Music (Master of Music), Nicolas began his musical studies at Third Street Music School Settlement, the oldest community music school in the United States, and has collaborated with famed artists Pamela Frank and Philip Glass. Nicolas believes in the value of music to bring audiences together as people and encourages the development of the whole learned and informed musician in budding students. In addition to his musical career, Nicolas enjoys a leisurely life of travel and exploring the United States and the world as well as being a bit of a foodie and dining out.
