Victor Valenzuela
Horn

Victor Valenzuela is 2 nd Horn with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, a position he began in 2016. He started his tenure with the TSO in 1990 as 3 rd Horn. He has performed with The Phoenix Symphony, Arizona Opera, The New Mexico Philharmonic, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London and numerous other Orchestras. He has toured with the National Symphony of Mexico, is a proud member of the award-winning True Concord Voices and Orchestra and is on the roster for The St. Andrew’s Bach Society. Mr. Valenzuela has performed for the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the 1984 Olympic Games, the 1986 rededication of the Statue of Liberty and the 1988 celebration of the 200th anniversary of the signing of The Declaration of Independence, in Philadelphia. He is a sought-after freelance artist in Arizona and is a member of the newly formed Brass Quintet, The Monsoon Brass. Since 1998, he has been the High Brass Instructor at Pima Community College. His hobbies include Golf and more Golf. The three loves of his life are his wife Susana and their two boys Christopher and Alex. The Summer of 2018 was Mr. Valenzuela’s inaugural season with the AIMS festival Orchestra, in Graz, Austria.
